Co-curricular activities

The co-curricular activities majorly performed at Elite Nursery and Junior School includes; sports, MDD and clubs.

Sports

Sports are a vital part of the EJS learning and wellness plan. The pupils have each been accorded with a house where they are encouraged to participate in the various activities including: netball, swimming, football, chess and scouting. Our sports teams have managed to scoop numerous awards in the competitions they have participated in with the help of the well trained sports staff.

EJS has the following houses

Houses Nursery Primary
Yellow Lala Elgon
Red Poah Moroto
Blue Tinky winky Mufumbiro
Green Dipsy Rwenzori

Clubs

EJS has provided a platform for an array of clubs from which the pupils develop their skill only in their areas of interest. These clubs provide opportunities for youth to participate in constructive activities, interact with peers in a supervised setting, obtain roles and to extend more on their formal education. The leadership roles that are available in clubs provide a valuable experience that is not generally available to young people.

Music, Dance and Drama

At EJS, we believe that music, dance and drama plays a hugely significant role in helping children to develop their creative skills and passions thus developing a creative mind, fostering personalities and imaginations as children make their journey through school, to become happy and well-rounded individuals. We have annual music, dance and drama competitions where our pupils show case their talents in the cheer of their parents and the winners and outstanding participants are recognized and awarded.
